Inspired through my paintings for over 25 years, I have developed a fascinating form of
expressionistic photography. The camera for me is the very beginning of my creative
process. The photograph's composition is the key to my development within each of my
paintings. The inspiration for my unique approach to photography - at the click of the
button is where my magic begins. A moment in time caught in an instant - through my
eyes. This experience is something that will always remain a special moment in my life
and for you it will last a lifetime………….

Bachelor of Science, Environmental Science/Chemistry

My degree in Environmental Science coupled with my passion for nature and the
environment has tremendously enhanced my photography work. I get the majority of my
inspiration and creativity from nature itself. The vibrant colors of a blue hydrangea and
the soft texture of a caterpillar provide me with a reference point to taking natural and
real-looking images. The relationship of the earth with the changing seasons tells a
visual story which is identifiable to all. These inspirations compelled me to favor a
photojournalistic style of photography. Just as nature tells a glorious story, my
photographs convey a story by capturing every emotion. From pure happiness with
boastful laughs to nervous butterflies just before you say "I do"; these emotions all
unfold and "come alive" with every image I create.
